The classic smokey eye never goes out of style and suits everyone. Take a gunmetal gray color and apply it all along the crease of the eyes, blending as you go. Apply the same color to the outside of the lower lash line and brow bone to create a highlighted glow. Apply it to your upper lashes first, and then a quick coat to your bottom lashes.

Next, pick the lightest shade and apply it on the inner corner of your eyes and below your eyebrows' arch (on top of the highlighter you applied earlier). Step 2: Define your eyebrows with your favorite brow product (Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony), and then prep your lids for the eye makeup applying an eyeshadow primer.

Step 8: When it comes to your lip makeup, you can either leave it subtle using just a dusty rose lip-gloss (Vintage and Undresses lip-glosses from ABH) or create a more intense look by opting for a dark burgundy lipstick with a matte effect (Heathers from ABH).

Line the waterline with the Eyestudio® Lasting Drama® Waterproof Gel Pencil in ‘Soft Nude' to make the eyes appear bigger and brighter. Use the brush in circular motions to blend it from the inner corner to the outer corner. Fill the remaining area with your gold eyeshadow and blend the two.

Using a deep brown or a black eyeliner pencil, tightline your upper waterline, so your lashes look fuller. Prime your eyes and apply the grey eyeshadow all over your upper eyelid and lower lashline with a flat brush. Step 4: Apply a metallic gold eyeshadow all over your mobile lid (Amber from ABH).

Step 5: Use a metallic silver eyeshadow to highlight the inner corner of the eyes, while also making them look bigger and brighter (Metal from ABH). If you have green flecks in your eyes, make your hazel eyes stand out by using violets, dark brown, kakis or vanilla tones.

Round off the look with dark eyeliner all around the eyes plus lashings of mascara. Create a winged eyeliner. First off, apply a nude-colored primer to the entire eyelid, all the way up to the brow bone. Your highlighter is the lightest of your three eyeshadow shades.

Use nude eyeshadow at the center of your eyelid. As someone who has always gone light when it comes to makeup, I didn't master the smokey eye until well into my college years. If you have golden flecks in your eyes, remember to highlight using yellow-based shadows or champagne, an all-time favorite of makeup artists.

The first thing that you need to do is put a light brown color on your eyelids. Whenever you need to apply more of your dark shadow, start at this point and work inwards or upwards. Next comes the crease of the eyes. End it in a tapered line slightly before the edge of your eyeshadow (where the darkest part meets your un-shadowed skin).

If your eyes have slight specks of hazel or light brown in them, purple manages to highlight these aspects. Take particular care to blend the color into the crease of the eyes too. To define the crease, apply the brown shimmer eyeshadow along the classic brown eyeshadow crease. Highlight the arches of your brows and the inner corner of your eyes to make your eyes appear bigger and more awake.

Step 8: When it comes to your lip makeup, you can either leave it subtle using just a dusty rose lip-gloss (Vintage and Undresses lip-glosses from ABH) or create a more intense look by opting for a dark burgundy lipstick with a matte effect (Heathers from ABH).

Also, use this to define the outer corners of your lower lashline. Again, blend the dark color into the light gold and pink. The darkest part should always be the point at the upper edge of your lash line. Any brown-eyed ladies are unaware of the different ways to use makeup in order to make their eyes pop.
